Week 11 Finds

  1. At Michael Wallace Elementary, a teacher name Suzanne McKenzie decided to develop a maker space in their school. She lead the program and opened it up to students during her lunch. She gave up her own lunch time to have students come in a create! If this isn’t making a move I have no clue what is!                             Michael Wallace Elementary Makerspace
  2. Andrew Goodin is Facilitator of the Makerspace at Grand Center Arts Academy in St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. Goodin has developed this program where is allows students to drop in and create. He allows students to come early in the morning and start creating. He challenges them and helps them when they needed it.             Andrew Goodin Makerspace
  3. Cassie Stephens is a Art Teacher based out of Tennesse. She is such an inspiration for many art teachers. She really transformed her teaching and allowed students to want to come to art and learn. She transformed her classroom into a color wheel and everyday is a creative outfit. She is so passionate about art and really helps her students. She is a great blogger and she has an awesome youtube account.   4. I found this teacher so inspiring. She really spends a lot of her time constructing her ideas to make learning fun in her class. I will admit that I got many ideas from her. She really has her children engaged and makes the environment in her room fun!   5. Second grade teacher Kayla Delzer really changes the way we look at learning in the classroom. Making the move to have the children be responsible for their learning.
